SHO(moby dick) at FFW Houston 3/29/14

As we all know from Literature Moby Dick was a great big white whale.  Since I was not only the only Taurus, but also the only white Taurus at FFW, I decided Moby Dick should take some mustangs out.  Even a race car Maverick.  Don't mind the redlights    Ran the true street class ended up runner up in the 13.0 bracket, closest to 13.0 over 3 runs.  Weather temp was ok, but the headwind was ridiculous.  Based on the Texas flag standing at attention, I'd guess 15-20mph.

It was a lot of fun.  They need an ecoboost class, as they have several 5.0 or Coyote classes.

This is kind of a blessing and a curse due in my opinion to Fords poor Marketing / Advertising of the SHO .
The SHO only accounts  for about 5% of Taurus Sales .
The fact that the auto rags and review sites give it very little credit for what we all love about them doesn't help either .

When you go to the track others are amazed by what we can do.
Mine stands out more than most so I am always getting questions .

You can tell a lot of people had no idea a Taurus could run with a Coyote Mustang.  True street, you make three passes in a row, coming up the return road.  Lots of waves as I was coming up to make passes.
