It was so incredibly difficult; tough; total day waster; I mean I literally sat and did the pros and cons; evaluated my life; determined if this was the path Hades set forth in my life.

And.....

I ordered my PPE catted downpipes today.

:)

You'll love 'em... I'll see you there! :beer2:

Good choice, I talked to stainless works and PPE.

Stainless works could not tell me that their DP's would not throw a CEL. They told me it varies from car to car.....
PPE  on the other hand told me their DP's will NOT throw a CEL.

I'll be ordering the PPE's shortly.

Man, that's like bread OR butter...how to choose. I think I'm on the same page though, all things being equal from a HP standpoint, at least with the downpipes you get the added bonus of getting to hear your investment!  ;D

I made it a priority to have a catted pipe that passes emissions for you guys as far as readiness checks. With CA you never know! :)

Good Move on the PPE DownPipes  ... I had considered Stainless Works at first  and went with PPE .
2013 SHO  ....  not mine anymore

2021 Edge ST

I'm excited. Also considering tune change too.

Sent from my mobile, I think.

Score another win for the PPE's!!!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Oh yea!....   :thumb: Definitely have the tune adjusted for the downpipes... both major tuners have an adjustment to maximize the improvement they give... you are really gonna love what it does in the launch!

With PPE catted downpipes can you still leave the bottom engine tray in place?
