Sell the 11 second SHO?

Replacing with either S6 or Q7 S-Line.

A buddy of mine traded his 2012 C63 AMG with the development pkg in on a new S6.  12.1's stock and 11.70's with a flash.  Not bad...

FYI... Charlie who started GRRRR8, passed away and his  08' Red G8 GT that has turned in the 11's and has virtually every N.A. option, including full pedders coilover suspension is for sale for $25,000.  Mileage is around 6,000.  That's right... only 6K! Widow is selling it.  She needs the $$$$. 

You're all correct to a point.... A person who is planning major mods should consider this vehicle... but most would veer away, which is my fear with my 2010 Flex which has 67K miles.
On other non-Ford sites, it seems most sellers end up doing better parting out their mods and selling them separately.   But there is always value to someone to have the only (and always the FIRST) SHO to get into the 11's.

Thanks Bob for the Kind words and I am not looking to make money on it just looking to sell at a fair price.  That G8 is a great deal and will be picked up quick.

Yeah... I would buy it if I didn't have 2 + modded Flex.  Only thing I don't like on vehicle is the Weld wheels which are dished and solid polished aluminum.  I think it might get bid up higher, and is worth more just because of the mileage.  He didn't beat on it much, like most of us probably have with our toys.  Poor Charlie found out about 12 mo ago that he had Stage 4 lung cancer... and by the time he had issues, it had already spread to his spine and brain.  Never met him but talked with him on phone several times and had many e-mails.  He was to GRRRR8 like 4 DR is here... Only he didn't defect to the competitors... LOL... Actually Charlie was always a Ford guy and had many hot Mustangs before his G8.

Good luck with you ideas... S 6 is cool...  Just don't keep it beyond warranty... Those suspensions are a money pit!

With the performance cars I've owned in the past and being on several different types of forums watching for sale ads, etc...I've learned that when selling a car with mods you can expect about 1/4 the price of the current value of the mod if you find the right buyer.  For example, if your car would sell for $20k and you have $10k in performance parts...you will probably be able to sell it for $22.5k.  It will be increasingly difficult to find a buyer for amounts higher than that.  Im not saying it's impossible....just hard to find those types of buyers. 

$30k is a great price for what you are offering.  If I hadn't bought 6 months ago I'd probably jump on it.

first how do you get the front lower LEDs to stay on ?

second I tell you how I lost my rear end on a moded car before.....
I had a 2000 Mustang GT that had a fully built / forged engine / race heads / custom blower cams / a 2.2L Kenne Bell blower / SPEC clutch / TKO transmission / full suspension brake upgrades / Eaton carrier rear gear 31 spline axels / aftermarket cowl hood / wheels / drag radials blah blah blah.

The car was paid off so I had $28k in just owning the car less depreciation of course, and I had another $40k in mods / labor done to the car. It was a dream to drive until my exwife had an affair. Unfortunately she worked for a law firm and even though I work in LE I didn't have the same unlimited legal resources. She tried to crush me in divorce so to protect myself I sold this car. I tried everything I could to get as much back as possible and ended up selling it for $20k. Then the buyer made my beautiful work of automotive art all dorky looking. Talk about insult to injury !!!!!

Keep it or plan to take the hit. Your best bet would be to try to sell it on ebay and hope you get someone else in the world who wants the fast used SHO created in your exact taste bad enough to shell out a lot of coin for it.
