Sell the 11 second SHO?

Guy's, I am thinking of selling the first 11 second SHO and wanted some feedback first.  Here is a list of everything on it.

Over $75,000 invested + many extra stuff I will send with it.

My question is what would be a fair price?

Kelly Blue Book puts a private party sale price right around $21,000. Then it boils down to how much all those mods are worth to a very small pool of buyers. You may be be able to ask and get around $30,000 to the right buyer. In all actuality you are probably far better off to bring it back to stock and sell the parts on the forum/EBay.

I would let it go for $30,000 and that's what I was thinking.  I do not want to take it back to stock.

The only hard part is finding that right buyer. I just went through this with my Jeep SRT-8 and it took a couple of months and taking off a couple parts off to make it all work out. A partial tear down of some easy to remove parts may be worth the effort.

I don't have to sell it and I am in no hurry, so its not a big deal.  I may just throw it on the forums and see what happens.  If it sells, it sells.

 75K$ invested in mods? Ouch!!!
When I sold my 2010, I took back the easy parts, put it back to stock and got 22,500$ for it (+1,500$ for the 2013 flower wheels).
It had 62000 miles on it and it was a 2010 non-PP. So 30K$ seems to be a fair price. Good luck Mike and what would you replace it with if I may ask?

I disagree. $30K is a lot for a car with 76K miles. Now it is fast and all the work is done on it. But it's customized for you by you. My dad is having the same problem with his 08 Bullitt Mustang.  Lots of mods; CAI, headers, exhaust, tune, 4:30 gears, hurst shifter, all kinds of suspension work, stock wheels and tires as well as slicks and skinnies, rear seat delete, line lock, battery relocated to trunk, and 150 shot nitrous which was NEVER used. And only 3K miles. Been trying to sell it for a year and had 1 solid offer of $25K but the guy never showed to pick it up. He's seriously considering putting it back to stock. If someone offers you anything over $25K for it, take it and run. Just my opinion. Being the first 11second SHO does give it notoriety, but that only means something to a small group of people.  When private selling your car, it's all about finding the right buyer. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

It's true, it is all about finding the right buyer and maybe in forum like here, you will have better chances. That said, if you put 75K$ (still can't believe it!), really you would get much more selling the pieces apart. I mean just look at the TCE brake kit, isn't it there about 6K$ just by itself. I am sure someone here would give you 3K$ for that alone. The meth kit another 500$, Mycal 500$, drag wheels and tires another 1K$, downpipes 500$, upgraded turbos (?), Airaid 150$, Corsa catback 500$... Just there, you have at least 6K$... Minus labor time a good 5K$ left and the car will sell better stock for sure... Probably low 20's K$...

For what it's worth, I gotta agree with steve.  The throttle body, being a "one of" should also command a nice price.

I have $5,800 in all wheels and tires alone with 7,000 miles on the Invos and 15 passes on the drag radials.  The TCE brake kit was not that bad as I was the fit car for them.  With Livernois doing all the work definitely makes the car hold value and anyone who has seen my car knows it is in great shape.

I really don't have to sell it and it will look good sitting next to my S6 or Q7 in any case, I was just wanting to clear some garage space as I have 5 cars.

If somebody want a great deal on a perfectly sound car they can talk to me.

In my opinion, a car that was performance out then taken back to stock is worth much less than stock to begin with.
