This post is not intended to take anything away from Torrie. In fact, as soon as the weather improves, I will likely try his tunes, too. However, just for perspective, when you go from stock to tuned -whether Torrie or LMS - it is a grin-inducing, butt-puckering, WOW experience.
When stock, my MKS wouldn't break the tires loose on pavement at all. It ran really good, though - I timed it from 0-60 in the low 5 second range. With the LMS tune, it will break the tires loose from a dig or from a slow roll. It will also chirp the tires strongly on the 1-2 shift. It will now go from 0-60 in the low 4 second range. All of that with NO negatives as a daily driver.
My point is that these cars respond very nicely to tuning. I appreciate the fact that we have tuners who are great to work with, add tons of performance and also care about safety/durability. Afterall, going crazy with boost, timing or whatever only to have engine failure is NOT a good experience.
