Cool ideas... i like the glow in the bottom pic too... Definitely going the right direction!

WOW, it just occurred to me that you have a toy that helps you play with another toy.... and satisfies the urge to use the SHO without wrenching or putting miles on it...

Haha; yes -- I'm determined to get better; I took about 80 shots in RAW but these three were the only ones I like.

I'm not really impressed with the Tamron lens I have--it doesn't focus well; going to throw it in trash can and buy some Nikon lenses. This lens was only $150 bucks so that explains it's lack of clarity.

I can't complain; I got all of this for free as a present from the parents LOL.

The photographer that did my shots of the V set the camera for long exposure then walked around car with a light it was crazy how it turned out Abbs ignored her walking around the car

Yeah, I've done that before with over bridge shots. I'm not good at it, but I've gotten some badass light trail shots!

Sent from my mobile, I think.

geswek... maybe Jeff will chime in with some lens suggestions if you're gonna get a new one.

Not to jack geswek's thread, but .... Mike who did you use for your pics?  TIA and apologies.

The SHO shows well in these pics!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I have 1 tamron I use on my D3x and it's a macro *something I rarely shoot* ... they are ok, but not much compared to their Nikon equivalents.  24-70 2.8 is usually on my camera, but I love the big ole  70-200 for car shots.

Anybody use the Sigma lenses?
