I haven't noticed this before until I made a video clip of Exhaust sound at rear.

I think it's the turbo seals

Puffs of white  / light gray smoke . I have almost 1800 mile on it now.

I doubt I'll be able to make any warrant claim ,  cause you know why .....

Just my observation (which can be moronic at times), but that looks more like water vapor than smoke to me. The dissipation rate looks far too fast to be from burning oil. Of course, it looks like it was windy...

Compression/leak down test? Again, I'm no expert, but that still looks like water/coolant vapor to me.

But, I'm 3 beers in, and my glasses are old....

SHO MAN

Is that a new exhaust? Is it possible there was some oil from the manufacturing process on/in the exhaust pipes?

The  catless downpipes  are new just put them on last night ... That would be nice not sure how long it would take to burn off though ..

Thats water vapor. Not oil, water vapor is a byproduct of the combustion process.

Interesting?  You are not the first person to have this problem due to catless downpipes.  My guess is your turbos are fine, just the seals.  Are these easily replaceable the seals?

I guess I'm paranoid and need to look at it closer with someone else in the car ..

Water vapor even when outside temps are 80 ?

I doubt catless downpipes would cause this and besides , I've only driven 30 miles or so since I put them on ..

I'm still wondering about Oil in Downpipes from Mfg . process  ?

If that's indeed oil burning from the turbos that is the smallest amount I have seen ever....it takes very little oil to make a ton of smoke

This is coming from experience, I cooked my stock turbo on the Talon...I looked like OO7 going down the road when I downshifted

Yes even though its a 80 degrees. If where oil from turbo its would smoke when you let off the gas, when engine vacuum is at its highest and would not dissipate so quickly. Gasoline is made up of carbon and hydrogen. When you burn it, it combines with oxygen to form carbon dioxide and water. In the combustion chamber, that water is a gas (steam).

I would have somebody follow you on the highway and video a sequence of acceleration and deceleration and report back what you see then

Yep the turbos are toast wink wink now you can tell the wife with a straight face.

Honestly though it looks normal. You dont have any cats so you will get a little something now and again. Its really minor. Was that a cold start up?
