Well I seriously debated upgrading the front end pads and rotors but couldn't bring myself to do it. Since my car is just a daily driver right now I saved some money and just bought standard rotors up front and went with the cmax premium pads at AutoZone. I've been using them on the back as well and they perform well and hold up fine.
My stock pads and rotors had 77,000 miles on them. There was still life in the pads but the rotors were wearing on the outer edges and I was getting a lot of noise and weird pulling up front. I think they may have been warped a little, not sure.
Everything feels great up front now, I just wish the pedal was more firm, the 2010 master cylinder leaves much to be desired. I may have a little pressure leakage through the master cylinder seals as well, as I can sit in park and mash the pedal and feel the pressure bleed off very slowly. It's not an issue right now as I can still lock the brakes easily, but something to keep in mind in the future for sure.

One thing for sure is the new rotors have a larger finished area, as the old ones had at least a quarter of an inch on the inner and outer edge that was rough and I could feel the pads wearing on it after about 40,000 miles.
