Anyone had issues with headlight condensation?  This is my new 2014 headlight...noticed some frost and it's on the inside of the lens.  Not sure if this would go away once it gets warm?  It's ass cold here...4 below right now.  Same issue on both sides.  It was washed by the dealer when I picked it up on Tues.

We have the same problem with one of the headlights on our Explorer, haven't had a problem with either the SHO or our Sable.  I would contact the dealer and have them replace it under warranty, because it won't improve, only get worst over time.

Seems to be a cold weather thing when it happens.  I have not had a problem, but can tell that there was condensation at one time.  I'd have the dealer look... Here's what the 2013 SHO manual says about it and what Ford considers unacceptable lamp assembly condensation.  Yours seem to fit the unacceptable description from your pic.

Thanks for that.  I'll see what it looks like once it warms up.  I feel like it's just a few little drops that froze, but we'll see

NP... Still it had to "puddle" to make the "drops"... your pic doesn't look like just fogging... I wouldn't hesitate to have the dealer look.

To me, a puddle is standing water.  My dealer seems pretty cool so I'll have them look at it when I go for my first oil change.  I also have the hood and trunk alignment issues, so I'll have a list for the !

I doubt it will get better over time.

All of us have these issues... good luck!  I studied it long and hard.  I think the Ford CAD program was wrong.  I couldn't find a way to straighten the right front hood or the left rear tail light completely without screwing up some other aspect.  I finally just adjusted the rubber bumper on the hood  for partial correction and with the blacked out tails it doesn't really show.... much.

I love my 2013 SHO in terms of performance, but it is a disaster when it comes to overall quality/reliability. The thing has been in the shop for repairs, most of them pretty significant, over 10% of the time since I bought it in September 2012. One out of every ten days...

Bummer!... Sorry to hear that.  How many miles on it?  Just ask 'cuz I bought my '13 then also and no issues at all.  The only visit to the dealer was for an oil change at 1800 miles when the car said I needed one.

That does suck - I have a '12 w/PP and it is at around 38k and the only issue has been chrome on one tail light, and I mean the ONLY issue. Fit/Finish is good, no rattles, squeeks, air leaks, nothing - this is THE most trouble free car I have ever owned. Oh I have been running an LMS tune for just coming up on a year -probably 12k miles.

Hopefully the dealer is fixing your "special" edition :)
