I got this warning on my dash so when i got my plugs changed out i had them check it out they say 2 of the 4 sensors arnt working properly. So im like on thats fine as  the reverse sensing system is covered under my ESP warranty. He tells me its not covered and it will cost 950 bucks to replace them. Im gonna call the ford customer service number and hopefully they can help me out. anyone ever got this fixed on ESP?

I haven"t heard of any problems, but I'm sure you can check Torrie's website and source / buy the sensors yourself and swap them out for a fraction of that quoted cost.

I have this same problem, if it really isn't covered by ESP, (what the $*&%&*$ by the way), can I just turn the warming message off? They are mostly annoying anyway.

You can toggle off the rear park assist.

That may be the cheapest fix yet. Ha!

Ok, I tried it and my car won't let me change the park aid settings, presumably because it's broken and Ford wants my money rather than me just turning it off??? I think I shall be bringing this up with my dealer....

I cannot guaranty this but on my MKS I only think I can adjust shutting off front parking sensor.  I could be completely wrong though.....

Should be able to turn Rear Park Aid completely off in settings  , I can .

I ran through the settings and normally where ON or OFF is highlighted on the other settings, so you can toggle between them. For the Rear Park aid on my car, neither are highlighted...

The trick for me was to just restart the car and it is highlighted but I think you have to turn off cross traffic and rear park aid. Cause mine just turns itself back on next start.

If curry67s trick doesn't work you could disconnect the battery for 10-15 min and then reconnect and start-up.

That is the equivalent of a hard reboot for the car's CPU.  The ECM will have to relearn your driving habits... first few drives will have hard shifts, etc. if you do this, but cheaper than dealer costs.
