Interesting idea for sure... but you still need to open up and straighten the inlet to the box and get rid of the saxophone following it.
•2013 Taurus SHO nonPP - All Ford factory options, 3BAR MAP, LMS v8 tune (mods for 3BAR, DPs, and T-stat), Paint & plastic correction, CQuart finest all exterior surfaces, limo black window tint,VLED Triton switchbacks, Daytime BrightLites switchback DRLs, full interior and exterior LED conversion, Lamin-X charcoal blackout tail lights and reflectors, PPE catted and coated downpipes, EBPP coated hotpipes with BoVs VTA, MDesign CAI
•2013 F250 CC Lariat 6.7EB Diesel -stock

you mean where the air enters the car .. that little notch in the hood seal?

yes that.... and after the box that tapering 180 degree bend that looks like a saxophone on it's side... the one the K7N intake replaces with one big tube best 90 degrees ..

i have that small battery installed now in my car.. if that gets mounted in the corner that could make lots of room

That would be very interesting to see and hear results about. The smaller battery and the BMC intake. Pretty major move from the stock engine compartment. I'd like to see how you'll set up the actual intake opening too.
