You can do whatever you want for rims, but from where I stand I just can not see those rims looking right on any vehicle.

You don't have to church it up.

Those wheels are fugly.

i don't think you or him have any trouble with mincing you all's words.  i also think both of you are overstating just a tad.

i usually go more subtle, but i know someone selling a compatible set of these for what seems to be a very deep discount; hence my quandary.

the price peaked my interest and after looking at some pics of vehicles online, i'm kind of on the fence; although i usually would not go this aggressive in terms of style.

anyway, decisions - decisions...

I think there is a reason they're on a deep discount.  BTW, what rims are on your car now?

sorry, i answered the wrong quote.

blacklightning, i have the standard 20 in 11-spoke MKS rims.

usually these rims are very expensive and still are, the deal I'm talking about is a private sale...

It does look good on the SRX, but I think it looks better out of the sunlight, where the black is at its' "blackest".  Tempted to custom carve 'em :D

yea man  ;D

they come in all black, but the ones i may be able to get a deal on are the machined finished ones...

If you send me a good side shot of you car and a wheel, I can put them on for you.

It's not very good but hopefully, you'll get the idea.

You guys.

Lanson

Definitely don't like the Barbados.  I love WTW wheels in general, but I think this one is a mess.

Basic questions, are you going 20 or 22, and are you staggering (hope so, looks ba)
I don't have an EB but I am an avid modder and happy to help the community and learn/grow.  Pretty good with audio and wheels, my build and discussion threads are here in the forum.  2013 Flex AWD N/A

thanks DJE, but remember these would be 22's.  they look smaller in your rendering.  i did some photoshopping and came up with this...

the design is still the same, but the size makes a difference IMO.

depends...

I'm not sure and still deciding between 20's or 22's.  i don't think i'm going staggered due to possible mechanical issues.

I would have to say that your rendition looks much better than mine.   ;D

With a 265/35-22, there is no mechanical issue.  You can use this size up front and in back, no problem.  A 22x9 front, and 22x10 rear would work perfectly.  Alternately, you could go 22x9 front and rear, and just use a lower offset rear.  The idea is to get that rear flank filled, because it is wider than the front.  If you are going 22", heavily consider options with forged barrels.  These will take a pothole hit better, and IF they are damaged they stand a better chance of being straightened than a cast option.

The Barbados is what would define as a full-face wheel.  Are you a fan of this style?  Like this?

Or on the deep end (but wow) the Fesler?

Ok that last one was just for fun.

some full-faced wheels look good to me (like the first two in your post), but they usually are more aggressive than what i tend to go for.  again, its a possible very good deal i can take advantage of concerning the Barbados.

are you sure theres no possible problems with an AWD car and a staggered set-up?  i've seen warnings about doing that...

Lanson... if I stayed with 20's  (not in the Barbados!) do you think the 265 width will allow clearances?  I like the idea of an inch more ground contact with enough sidewall to preserve ride with maybe a 35-40 width to maintain the rolling diameter and sidewall pretty constant without spacers? TIA

BTW, I'm personally influenced regarding these wheels previously 40 years ago! The problem with the Barbados for me is that they look almost exactly like the wheel covers I had on a 1969 Toyota Crown in high school, which I changed quickly then 'cuz I didn't like them (Like the SHO it was a sleeper... had the Celica drive train in a sedan.
