2013+ ignition fuse and pump turn on q's

First off, 2013+ owners that have installed the LMS/Alky kit - which fuse are you using that is ignition on only? I know 2010-2012 use 46. I found 70 which operates some of the same things that 46 did in the other years and I am getting power still when turned off and in accessory. When I shut my car off the meth pump kicks on and the red light is on for priming then it finally turns off after about 10 sec. Weird.

Other than that it's working fine.  I do have another question about pump priming...

I do not have a tune but I wanted to try the kit out and make sure it was working properly. I took a 50 mile drive on the interstate and set the controller on 2. When I was driving with cruise on even the slightest incline in the road that would put a load on the engine the red priming light would come on. Should it be coming on this early? Even driving without cruise on the interstate I would have to baby it up hills to keep the priming light from coming on.
I verified the settings inside the controller and they matched others.

I had about 2 quarts of 50/50 meth in the tank and ended up between driving a total of 60 miles with it on and spraying to test in the garage it used it all.

... And yes I will be getting tuned for the meth when I get my turbos on :-)

You need to watch boost to adjust the turn on should start priming at about 5psi of boost and go green at 8psi. As finding appropriate  circuit to power the system I would disconnect until you figure that out. You risk hydro locking your engine.
Pump shouldn't be priming, you say you don't have a tune, so I assume your not running a bar 3 MAP sensor. The calibrations made inside controller are probably set up for a bar 3 MAP.
For me and my 2011 I can not run my meth system with my bar 2 and no tune. Meth pump will will do exact same thing except mine goes green. And have hydro locked.

Ok, makes sense if it's setup for a 3 bar. I have it turned off today. I just wanted to run it some to make sure everything was working. I'll just go ahead and pull the fuse in the engine compartment too until I get it turned.

At least the engine should be clean with all that meth ran through yesterday! It never got bogged down to the point of hydro locking but when testing the system at idle it started missing some until I brought up the revs and burned it all out.

I have a CEL I need to check today I think it's from the car thinking it had a misfire.

When test or just purging the system, I turn the knob on controller all the way up and raise rpms up about 3k and hold test button until light goes green. If you didn't order a check valve I high recommend, in the hotter months your meth boils at about 130 degrees this will keep meth in line from pushing out and flooding engine and losing prime. Its about $20 and mount right behind spray nozzle.

Whats final word on gray trigger wire from relay? plug into fuse #70?

70 still had power after turning the vehicle off. I hooked it up just to test everything out. I'm heading up to Livernois to tune in a few weeks so I just left it unhooked and I'll ask them when I get up there.

I know there are a few guys on here with 2013s running meth. I would have thought someone would see this and open their fuse box to tell which ones it's in.

Starting to see why a simple fuse is a mystery. Haven't been in a hurry seems how I didn't have the meth tune until now. I know I can just test and find the one I want to use, but I thought I'd call LMS and see if they could tell me. They couldn't or wouldn't. They did say some pretty conflicting stuff against my limited understanding of the alky controls.  Here's a couple / they absolutely use both the GM and the motorcraft 3bars / they absolutely never tap into the factory 3bar. And there was a lot more said. I have no idea if there tune will even work and no confidence I might add.

The meth system when install is said and done was super simple. I think there is only 3 wires that hook up to the car (besides grounds). What's the stinken mystery. 3 wires come on, am I missing something here, besides all the wires that interconnect the meth system to itself there is - hot to battery - trigger to fuse - map to PAC

It might all work fine as is, but after talking with the gentlemen from LMS I have no idea

I suspect it follows as a kind of disclaimer... like the tunes order page.  While I'm in no way saying meth is bad or dangerous... this product likely has significant product liability and they want to keep ins rates down....

Seems like an odd comment, when there's been plenty of people who have been running their meth tune confidently, and consistently, for several thousands of miles with no I'll effects.

Well as long as one doesn't consider a big 'ol Cheshire cat like permagrin plastered across one's face as an I'll effect.

Yea,  just to be clear... they won't help because they feel they can't without being responsible (for anything that happens)... it's like mos of the price of a Cessna is product liability insurance cost.
... clearly meth is a relatively quick 40-60 WHP.  No warning or opinion other than as I'm trying to clarify here intended

I believe Livernois has atleast installed the kit on a few member's vehicles. Hopefully those owners can chime in.

I believe basically everyone else has tapped into the factory sensor, ran power from the main fuse box wire, and used a fuse for a turn on source. That's it. 

The tune should still work fine. As long as the settings in the Alky control box are turning it on at the right boost level that the tune it wanting.

I was under the impression the only reason why it came with that GM 3 bar was due to it being a universal kit from the get go.

I don't think it's not they don't want to help, the sales guys don't do the installs so they don't know. All test light will find your answer a lot quicker.

Good point, if the sales guy looks at what comes in he kit and the instructions he's going to say it all gets hooked up and they don't tap into anything if he doesn't have any actual experience putting one on a SHO.
