I had the DynoMax  with stock 2.25" and then up Grade to LMS D-pipe, Magflow x-pipe, and 2.5" cat back to my DynoMaxs. DynoMax come with 2.5" tube with step downs to 2.25" at there end to fit our stock 2.25" pipes. A local shop install the hold exhaust(+$60 X-pipe from AutoAnything, replacing 3rd cat and welding the Dyno Maxs) for $500.

And I can still reinstall the stock muffler and go back to stock sound for road trips with the wife! lol

STOCK with DynoMaxs only.
DYNO MAX 19

MODDED Sound
new down pipe,x pipe,and 2 5 exhaust sound check

Sounds real good. The only issue I'm having listening to the sound clips is the hissing/ raspyness of the exhaust. It might be because of the angle the cameras are at. It sounds really awesome though. My buddy qouted me 455 for 3rd cat delete with H-pipe, 2 glasspacks right after the H and 2.5" straight out the rear.

You'll never know if it's right for you unless you try it. $455 sounds like a good deal, I've got $1600. into mine and the downpipes aren't built yet(parts are collected tho)  It's not raspy but the low RPM drone is annoying me and keeping me one gear higher than usual to avoid it :-

I think that the d-pipes, x-pipe, and 2.5"cat-back make the DynoMax a little louder and more drone than the stock with the DynoMax. But the stock muffler at the end of the MODed (d-pipes, x-pipe, and 2.5"cat-back) sys has no drone and is as quit as stock.

I had thought about just pulling the third cat and resonator.  Leaving the rest of the exhaust stock.  Somebody here did it.  Can't think of who right now.  I think they were happy with the results and it was very low cost.

That is what I plan on doing, using an x-pipe to delete the third cat and resonator. After looking at all the aftermarket exhaust systems and the stock exhaust I've come to realize that if there is any bottleneck it is in that region. Also due to the fact that I have the MKS I'm not really looking for a loud exhaust, wouldn't suit the car, and that x-pipe delete should help make the car a bit more audible and help the turbos breath a little bit more.

Cool Spartn27!  Let us know how it goes and what you use.  I still might want to do mine sometime.

I think this is the best sound IMO. audi s4 v6 biturbo 2.7l sound
I Think s4 sound very mean but I think it too loud for every driving for me. I'm a old guy and driving a loud HOT-ROD every day get old. In my 20's I had a 1972 Challenger with header glass pack mufflers love it every day until I got married and kids. Then it got a little loud for every day driving.
