FO SHO

As of now i have a 10' SHO non PP with an Unleashed tune and Meth 70/30 mix. Im tired of hearing the engine whine and not the turbos or exhaust. lol I want it to be light, sound throaty, and low cost. My idea was to delete the 3rd cat and resonator with a magnaflow dual in and dual out x-muffler and 2.5" all the way out with 4.5 - 5" tips. Would that be too ricey considering the muffler is still has packing and has a built in perforated x-pipe built in? I know an H pipe can add a nice growl at low speeds but is it worth it considering the x-pipe is in the muffler? Conclusion in my eyes is an H-pipe then a muffler (dual in and dual out x-pipe) and straight out from there. Sound good? Ive been kicking this around forever. I refuse to pay 1k dollars for minimal gains and all i really want from the exhaust is a great sound. BTW. I thought the dynomax mufflers sounded a little raspy at idle; like there isn't enough exhaust pressure to obtain the right frequency note. Thanks guys/ gals

The cherrybomb glass packs do sound pretty good on another guys taurus. Wasn't sure if it was a SHO or not. Definitely cheaper and supposedly cuts down the high frequency sounds also.

I had thought about just pulling the third cat and resonator.  Leaving the rest of the exhaust stock.  Somebody here did it.  Can't think of who right now.  I think they were happy with the results and it was very low cost.

I saw that also. I just never got to hear it. I don't make a lot of money to swap out parts like crazy =). One and done is my motto. Thats why i have one daughter. lmao

That doesn't sound bad.  A little loud for my taste but I have very sensitive ears.

I have glasspacks and open exhaust after that all the way to the  back.  I did an x pipe then glasspacks right where the 3rd cat used to be

I had the DynoMax  with stock 2.25" and then up Grade to LMS D-pipe, Magflow x-pipe, and 2.5" cat back to my DynoMaxs. DynoMax come with 2.5" tube with step downs to 2.25" at there end to fit our stock 2.25" pipes. A local shop install the hold exhaust(+$60 X-pipe from AutoAnything, replacing 3rd cat and welding the Dyno Maxs) for $500.

And I can still reinstall the stock muffler and go back to stock sound for road trips with the wife! lol

STOCK with DynoMaxs only.

I wonder how those glasspacks would sound with otherwise stock exhaust just removing the stock mufflers and adding the glasspacks. I think that car sounded good above just too loud. Curious as to how it sounds while driving.

What or Who is a Spintech?

Here is inside stock exhaust with DynoMaxs ONLY. The sound did come out like I wanted it to, you can hear the car but not me.

Venturi-flow muffler, a little like a Dyson vacuum for an exhaust.

Lots of youtube clips, just look around if interested.  I was thinking they might be good for a V6.
