This may look familiar to some folks on here, because it is! Geswek had a A-pillar custom made for his SHO, but decided not to use it and he hooked me up with it. See this thread for more info on the fabrication of it...it is really very well done. I got them this past August and they've been empty till last night.

This is what it looks like with a set of Interceptor gauges installed in it! My B-day was last weekend and I was completely shocked by my fiancee giving me these...I come to find out that she was in contact with Geswek/Storm on Facebook and I got "played" by both parties since I wasn't planning on getting these till later next year after I got married in May. I winded up ordering the SHO faces and the Aluminum bezel covers, since they missed that, but thats better then paying $458 bucks for everything. I winded up getting the additional parts yesterday and put them in last night after dinner.

The install was extremely easy...hardest thing was fishing the wire coat hanger down the dash so I could get the wires up to the gauges. I had to pop the trim piece that comes up from the lower door to access the coat hanger. I accidently winded up snapping the tab off on upper part of the trim piece, so I'm taking a ride to the Ford dealer to order another piece. Not the greatest setup, but how many times does that Piece need to come off?

After fishing the wire up, plug in the gauges, then plug it into OBD2 port under the steering wheel, then start the car. I'm still trying to get  hang of the interface to show the data...but currently have it setup to show Boost, Boost requested from the ECU and the Head and Coolant Temps on the lower one. I'm going to fiddle around with them to see what they can actually display from the ECU and figure out what I want to show. They also have a 1/8 and 0-60 performance test in them I need to play with too.

Gauges look great. Nice choices!  Glad those custom pillar trims found a nice home.

looks great. Chris & I where discussing these since he did the center pod but just wasn't economically feasible. I think we are both are still interested in the  pillar but with it empty so could put gauges that match our own set. anyway i think your fiance is down right dynamite to get for your birthday,

Yes, are a pig tail into the OBD2 port.

I spent almost 400 making that pillar pod. It took quite some time for it all to be done and two different people.

Definitely not economical HAHHA.

It did come out stellar! I think I may have to go to Scotts house and steal the damn thing back!

Sent from a mobile, I think.

I'll second the comment that it's good to see Storm's A-Pillar pod having found it's way to a new/good home.

The price point to produce that pillar was approximately the same price I paid in total to have mine produced and upholstered.

This of course did NOT include the price of the gauges themselves, or the labor to install them.

Not a cheap mod by any means, but still awesome nonetheless!
