Thanks for the welcome already that was fast. I added a photo to my first post. Only decent one as the day I picked it up it was snowing and it hasn't gotten warmer that 20 degrees sense. Brand new 2013 with 402A, voice Nav, and 20" wheels. Wish it was a PP car but oh well. Build date of 11-11-12  and as such I believe is the reason it has full leather seats and no suede inserts.

If I remember correctly to get the suede on the 10-12 cars u had to get the performance pack, and the 13+ where supposed to come standard with the suede?

Well so far I'm enjoying the car except its already been in the shop twice. Not blaming ford yet. First issue was car ran out of fuel the night I went to look at it, and it was late and the dealer was freaked. So they sent me home with another car for the weekend. Well my car had been on dealer lots for a year and had bad fuel and needed the recall or tsb done on the fuel pump.

So got that and window tint installed. Got the car picked up and 45 minutes or, so later check engine light comes on. End up back at dealer and its gettin two new cats put in this week.  I think the bad fuel might of damaged the cats or they were just bad. So in any event a interesting start to my ownership.

Also noteworthy cars of my past. Black on grey 1992 Audi S4, green on black 1992 Audi S4, 1999 gtp, silver on black 2008 grand prix GXP, and a silver on black 2004 Volkswagen phaeton. Also owned a Volvo S60 R and 2003 GTP comp G both for about 48 hours lol.

Don't despair.... at least it happened in warranty and while the weather's less than optimal for fun drivin'

BTW... the "suede" is actually made from old plastic pop bottles..... I have it and it compliments the leather well.

I'm a little bewildered about the seat inserts as well. I have a '13 with PP, and no inserts. Only on the steering wheel.

Anyway, hope you're liking your SHO, early troubles aside.

I'm curious, though - why'd you have the S60 R so briefly? Was it a mid 2000s model?

It may have something to do with PP or multi-contoured options?  IDK.  I thought they all had inserts.

Nope.  Just checked.  Looks like Black is all black leather.  Black with Myan Grey has "suede" inserts.  This is for 13s and 14s.

So far I love the car and enjoy it very much.  As for the Volvo I bought it late at night and they couldn't finish the paper work. So they sent me home with it. When I drove it hard around a round a bout the car wigged out flashing all kinds of  lights.  It was a nice lookin used car. I told them about the problem and said I didn't want it.
