I run a 255/35 as I wanted more footprint and less height to gain some gearing since I'm nonPP.

Next time I'll prob go 255/40 as long as choices are there... its what I wanted first time but man its slim pickens.

I also run 5/16 f and 7/16 r spacers.

any pics ?!?!?!

still want to see the larger tires and wheel spacers !

I replaced the stock tires with 255/45R20 all-season tires (Kumho Ecsta 4X XL) and I've had zero problems after about 15k miles.

did they improve handling/traction etc?

I didn't notice a lot of change in traction or handling, which surprised me a little since I went from the 245 summer tires to 255 all-season tires. However, now that I have the car tuned I'm finding the limits of the all-season tires when it comes to traction off the line. My next set of tires will be summer tires since I now have a second/winter vehicle and I plan to stick with 255s when I do that. I definitely don't regret going with these 255 all-season tires, especially when we get a little snow...had the car out in about 3" of snow today and it handled great.

thanks for the info.

I've noticed that the 255s are actually a little cheaper on average (at least with Michilens, by about 10%) at Sam's.  I'll go for them just for that reason, since there seems to be no issues using the wider thread.

Yes, 255s seem to be a touch cheaper and that also helped me seal the deal when I thought about going with a little wider tire.

I'll get some good angles of the wheels this weekend... weather has been terrible!
