No they don't, if tuned the most you'd hear in summer with window down is tiny bit of turbo spool up. And blow offs went letting off from hard acceleration. With windows up you won't hear any of this.
X2 X3 X4 TRUE.

Anybody with a k&n typhoon will tell you that you absolutely can hear sucking air and the blow off valve with the windows closed and even with the radio on low.  Airaid, no.

Thanks 4DR....Good to know. even happier with my choice now.  We need to set up the time for the install.  Seems if it's quieter it could be due to less restriction to air flow.

This is stupid expensive, and would need powder coating 'cuz it's mostly chrome or polished... but has anyone tried the Hennesey intake?  It appears to have 2 intake sources.  :dunno:

Yea.. Beautiful black one that he already started modding... By the time 4DR is through with it it'll likely be 1200+ HP   :smiley-faces-75:

He assured me he's still on for the EB platform with his truck though.

EcoBrick Bob

ANYONE who has a round or oval filter, like the K & N or AirAid filters... I think it is  very important to buy a Pre-Filter from AirAid or K & N... which you can get at a better price from Summit or other sources.  I have been running K & N packages on my vehicles since the early 2000's.. My Pre-filters get really dirty.  While you can wash them with dish detergent,  it is most important to keep them clean.  They work really great keeping leaves etc. and all the other crap from plugging your filter.  In other words... :  A REALLY CHEAP DATE!!!!!
2010 Red Candy/White EB Flex.. World's first 12 second Brick.. 12.904 @ 106.85 MPH - October 2011

2008 White G8 GT - mods... 8.32 1/8 mi.

I want to make a knock off of that intake but need a transverse car at PPE for a few days to make it happen. If you want to work with me on it and can drop the car in Tempe for a few days I'll supply the intake for you. :)
