2014 Taurus SHO Factory order!

Does anyone have times on their Fords that they factory ordered?? I was told 6-10 weeks for a order.. 2 weeks once the vin is assigned. That didn't sound bad.. I am now at 8 weeks and the dealer has zero Idea of when the car will be built.. Customer service told me to ask the dealer? Just curious what other customers have had to do?

The info your dealer gave you is accurate, once you have the vin I can try to find out more. The dealer should be able to provide you vin number after the 2 wks.

is it normal to wait 2 months to the day for a vin and they now have no idea when? driving the beater van daily is killin me! lol!
actually am going tomorrow to check out a wrx sti.. hopefully I won't like it!

We had a friend (Showgun) who waited several months (like 4-50 for his car to show up at the dealer.

I'm sorry I missed the part about it being already 8wks, your car should have been assigned a vin by now. Not sure who to contact about, has the dealer provide you with a order number?

My Daughter got their new 2014 Ford Explorer Limited in about a month,  They special ordered it as they wanted Black. LTd without the Nav package and the stone interior with a big Moon roof and a few other options...

By the way... they really are happy with it... in spite of the fact that I ride their butts for not getting a Sport... However I do agree that  I hate the fact one can't buy a Sport with a light interior.

I used to own a 2006 STi. I would have kept it if I had enough money but I need the space the SHO offers.

I just asked them to get me my order #.. shall see what happens then..
ya the problem I already see with the scoobaroo is noisey and not many options. but prolly alotta fun to drive.

haha awesome..... I know that sounds like a made up order number myself.. I work in the motorsports industry and NO orders for ANYTHING are that basic lol!

the one major problem I have with reordering somewhere else is.. when I did this deal Ford had the Employee pricing sale on.. that has since ended and the car is about 10g more now if I were to start over..  There seem to be ZERO sho w/pp anywhere in Canada..

That sounds like they want you to cancel so they can get more out of it from someone else.
