Any one familiar with the  Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tires ?
I have 265/35/22 on my 2013 SHO .
I am sure that I am not the only one with this problem ....
My better half seams to be drawn to curbs as if magnets were pulling her to them .
I am wanting to go wider  to push the rubber out a little past the edge of my rims ....  22 X 9 Giovanna Meccas .
I only have minor curb rash and a local shop can weld the rims , polish them out and repaint them .
I can go out 3/4 " before hitting Strut towers and up about 1/2" before hitting Strut  .
Thinking 295/25/22 in the Vredestein or 285/30/22 in Nitto or Falken .... ANY thoughts ...........

Argh, the dreaded yet familiar need for a C.R.A.S.H (Curb Rash Avoidance System (Hers))!  I am just worried that if the wheels are curbed so often, the risk of blowing a tire would be worse, no?  Plus the ride quality probably isn't going to be the best with such a short sidewall (as is being proposed).  Anyway, I guess the question would be, would you need a stiff sidewall or a flexible sidewall to absorb the impact?

Would crossover/light truck tires like Yokohama Parada Spec-X or Pirelli Scorpion Zero work?  They have a higher load rating (stronger sidewall), so maybe get one in the size you would want?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I'm pretty sure you are close to max with the 265/35-22.  You could go with the 295/30-22 (Vred has one), which is ever so slightly shorter but still acceptable IMO.  You can also stagger with a wider rear wheel while still keeping the same tire size and therefore keeping the AWD system happy.  That's what I did for my Flex to get the flushness that I want.

I turned down a 295/30-22 rear because during test fits of the 22x10 rear, I ran into clearance issues with the brake hose bracket back there.  A 30mm wider tire might be really, really close.  With a 22x10, a 265/35-22 mounted ends up with the wheel being a tiny hair wider than the tire, and ever so slightly stretched.  That is because a 22x10 is actually a 22x11 in total width, considering the ~1/2" wheel bead on each side.

I'm pretty sure the front can't take much more without a lower offset wheel which would poke some.

Ok ....I saw the the 295/30/22 Vredestein . I think I'll give it a wirl . Damage was done when I had 255/30/22 rubber when I first got Wheels . I later Filled out some of the original curb damage and used touch up paint .. I then put the 265/35/22 rubber on . Its hard to tell they are buggered up unless you look closely  . I just would feel better putting slightly wider rubber on as soon as I get the rims professionally refinished .

Yeah, before ordering I would just measure your current setup and any clearance point (bracket, strut, etc.) that you can see near the tire, and factor ~15mm more space clearance for those wider tires, give or take.  A small socket or some other thing that measures around 15mm diameter, and sweep around your existing tire and wheel to see if anything would hit before ordering them.
