Are they engaged and doing anything about the issue?

I got a response from Anthony on another board, "he doesn't really monitor this one as much" and he said he has passed the videos and information along to the tuner and they will be working on getting it fixed up.=]

Thanks for following up, TouchOfEvil.  Hopefully they will finally pay attention to this issue and get it fixed for their customers once & for all.  LMS is definitely not the same after Rick left.  At times, it feels like they are giving us the polite brush-off.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

New to the forum. I have not done anything with the plugs but I also get the hesitation with both the 91 and 93 tune from LMS as mentioned here. I got an email from LMS they blamed the winter blend of fuel. I was wondering for the guys with the hesitation did you have DTC stored? I had a few, I didn't write them down just cleared them when I tried the re-tune to 91 to see if it would help. I'm thinking something with the tune. BTW I have a 2014 non PP SHO running the V7 tune, Air Rais CAI and 170 Stat. Still waiting to hear back from LMS since swapping to 91 did not help.

The v7 tune is suppose to be the fix for the SHO so i'm not sure what they will do for you. My guess tell you to get a meth kit installed.
Both tunes for my ex were very rich. I ran them with straight 93 fuel and did a 104 octane mix with 93, mixed it for about 100 octane to test the winter gas theory. No dice, asking too much fuel regardless of type is gonna be an issue.
You can see what they say but i'm leaning towards the meth answer. You could get a boost a pump like i was suggested which is allot cheaper then meth.

I talked to Ken a little bit over at Lund since ours is fixed except for the SS tune which is in the works again.  He's sure it's not a fueling issue and all due to changes made in the tune but he wouldn't go into details on what it was.  He's got a lot of time invested in fixing this and they took a bit of a beating on the explorer forum while we were having issues and all the livernois customers kept piping in to say how they didn't have said issues.

Hope they get you guys back on track soon!

Lunds tune may not have been a fuel issue. Livernois has admitted the fuel is the issue at least to me. They are currently working on the issue as far as I've been told. They had the same issue with the sho and released a tune to fix it.

I know Lund was taking a beating on the issue I read all about it, I wish I had known it was an issue for both tuners beforehand
At least that way I could have expected it once the temp dropped..

I purchased the Mycal from them but haven't gotten with them to load any tunes.  It hasn't left the box.  I'd like to see a response from LMS regarding your concerns and others on this board.

Has anyone posted Livernois a link to this thread?

I pm'ed LMS.  I'm not going to load the tune if there is a possibility of the FRP not keeping up with fuel demands and thus damaging the engine.

Is it the v7 or a whole new tune? I call  once a week for updates but have not done so this week. Would really like to see a more realistic A/F/ ratio along with the stutter gone. The A/F they have it at right now is just killing power and putting allot more strain on the fuel system.

They sent me a test tune to try out, It helped a bit still has hesitaion just at 4500 rpm but then goes. The tune does feel a bit weaker than the 93 V7.

A little birdie told me that the winter fuel and colder air temps have been a real pain for LMS.  But, they think they've got it and just need a few more days.

I pm'ed them.  I'll wait for a response from them before judgement.  I currently am very happy with my SHO tune.  I've yet to contact them for tunes for my Explorer.  Have the mycal just waiting.......

Winter fuel has nothing to do with the fuel pressure drop. I ran 104 octane race fuel with the 91v2 and hboost and the 93 v2 and hboost and they all dropped pressure at 4500 rpm. Winter fuel is their go to excuse but it is a false excuse.

What tuner is Lund using.  I've emailed Torrie and he stated he didn't have any tunes for the Xsports.
