After doing some research, I found the work around for in motion use of nav is possible via a lockpick.

Now my questions are, any to avoid, or must haves?  I'm really only looking for one to activate motion gps destination, and the ability to play movies for the little one.  Any experience using phones or an ipad/iPod to stream video on the SHO screen?

My friend recently gave me one for free. I think they cost around $350. It is Coastal Electronic Technologies Inc. Freedom in motion sync Lockpic. I love it. Haven't tried motion gps destination yet, but watching TV while driving is fun. lol

Not sure about all years.... But in '13 and up you can't use the touch screen when your moving, but you can just talk to the nav... It works very well and I use almost all the time anyway.

CoastalLockpick is a very useful hack ... Especially for more video cams and ability to turn them on when you want
