Just happen an hour ago with the wife driving home. Sitting at a red light when wamm the car behind her rear ends her. The woman behind her was rearended by another car.. She is OK but the red candy is not.

Eh...... doesn't look ALL that bad....

I know that lower textured black plastic cladding is easily removed and will like be replaced under the claim.

Re-Spray / Repair that back bumper cover beyond that..... should be good to go.

Hell, your claim will likely come in cheaper than the entire out-of-pocket money I spent on the damn raccoon I hit back in March (of this year).

When all was said and done with that nonsense, it well surpassed the $3K mark.

Well, IIRC that lower rear textured plastic piece was less than $200 brand new (factory Ford part, not some cheap knock off).

The paint work, hell, IDK. That's all so variable depending on the shop you choose, the paint they use, the process(es) involved.

No clue on the paint work end.

I'm going to guess 2K  by the time they replace the cladding and do some painting.  Take it to the best shop you can find.

1400 bucks...could be more when they get the bumper cover off. Glad the guy had insurance..
