To some at any rate, I see a lot of familiar usernames from the ecoboostowners forum, I see this is the place to be now. I've had my '10 Tuxedo Black SHO for maybe 10 months now. I've enjoyed every minute with it! Well except for the time someone hit me. But that was all taken care of. Anyways I've finally started off with aftermarket parts. Just got an Airaid intake, I plan to do downpipes (i'm thinking PPE or stainless works cat-less) and a tune from livernois next. Any particular order I should do these mods in?

Anyways, it feels good to be a member of an active ecoboost community again. Because I F$#&$(*$ING love this engine!

Also I found out that about an our SE of me in Battle Creek MI, during an airshow, they did an event called the Michigan Mile on a runway they closed down and I very much want to enter it next year. Has anyone run a mile-event with their SHO's?

My apologies, need to clean up this engine bay, haha:

Welcome aboard, glad to see you've made the transition over to here. :hi:

As you've seen for yourself, most of us from the other place, are now here.

You can single handedly thank site owner 4DRHTRD for having started this wonderful community, and it is light years ahead of the "other place".

Which i'll add, we always had navigation issues, among many other issues with the "other place" more so since the Admin over there applied the latest software "update". What a joke.

Anyhow, moving along, this IS definitely THE place to be now, and we are growing each and every week.

Lots more info here, along with more vendors, and more active knowledgeable members as well.

Enjoy, I know you will :ok:

Please pass the word along, where ever you can, about this new Ecoboost Community, whether that be passing another Ecoboost owner on the road (no matter which model / make) or parked in a lot, or filling up at a gas station.

The more the merrier!

Yep, it is $200 and you get to do a number of runs in one day. You can also pay for a 3 day pass, but that seemed a little too pricey to me, haha.

I'll be sure to post about it when we get a little closer to next years event. I hope they do a decent job matching up cars.

$200  Yikes!  Do they give you calibrated time and speed slips?

This is from their website:

Vehicles will start each run from a dead stop. Upon visual signal from the race attendant, drivers will pilot vehicles at increasing speed down the tarmac until the one-mile distance has been reached. Trap speed at the end of each run will be calculated and recorded according to IMRA guidelines and practices. General Guidelines
