All You Need Is The Tune. Nothing Else. The Tune Is A Vast Improvement Over Stock. As Far As The Different Stages Or Tuners, Doesnt Really Matter. For The 2010, The Stage 3 Runs The Same As 4 And 4+. At Least In My eXperience.

You do not need any modification to run 4+.  You will need Tstat and 3Bar if you ever go to Xv1 which hasn't been issued yet. Here is my graph that shows stock, Stage 4 and Stage 4+.  Totally stock except for tune and K&N Panel.

Dang the + tune really picked up some tq. Same tune I run, never even tried the others lol

Livernois 4+ is not as strong as Torrie's 93 tune, at least in my Flex.  See the ongoing 1/8 mi thread where I posted my data.

Only reason I ask is because I called Livernois yesterday and i asked if they require it or recommend it and the tech said require if you go stage 4+ On a 2010.

After seeing your dyno sheet... Its getting me all excited for that torque pull like i had in my Jeep SRT8! :D

They are not required, I do have a tstat, but stock plugs... only have tstat because it was cheap/easy and it gets hot here.

I've been running 4+ for months now

Doug I have been running 4+ and it's updates and variations ever since it came out. I didn't keep track of how long it's been, but I'm sure it's been well over a year and I have so far done nothing but the tune and an Airaid. Of late I swapped the CAI for a K&N drop in filter in the stock air box. I'm planing on doing a stat swap some time soon but I don't think anything is required or advised to be changed. If it is it's a new policy and I'm not aware of it as yet!

I think what they are saying is that the original 2010 plugs are different from 2011 & up.  In fact if one has issues when stock... Ford changes plugs to the newer #.  Some are running an even cooler plug.

I was the first to run a 170 deg T-stat.  Torrie was the first to offer them... He had the Ford T-stat modified to open at 170 vs stock ( I believe - 185 deg).  Darreli & others got these and 3 bar sensors from Torrie like I did, before Livernois started offering them.

My SHO hasn't been on a dyno but I've been to the track once so far and went 13.80 stock then by the end of the night I went 12.96 with the Livernois tune. Only other mod is a drop in K&N. Hopefully going back to Atco in a week or two.
