I know I said I was looking for something no one else had, but I didnt want to waste money on something that was not going to fit right or look good... So I went with the tried and true and love the results! 20x8.5 in the front with 245/45/20 wheels and 20x10 in the rear with 275/40/20's. Tires are Pirelli P-zero's.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I will soon be doing this to my SHO, but I'm probably going to go with all the wheels the same size so I can rotate them.

OMG ANOTHER COPY CAT of ANOTHER COPY CAT of ANOTHER COPY CAT of ANOTHER COPY CAT of ANOTHER COPY CAT....

Look good man!

I felt the same way buying them... just another sho with TSW's... but you cant argue with the result, I love the look and ya I know staggered is pointless, but it makes an american car look more like an american car than some euro tuner car. Really wanted the bronze wheels, but the place I ordered from didnt have them in stock, and the deal I got was to good to pass up.

For the weight savings, value, strength, and of course looks of the Nurbs, I really haven't found anything close.

I agree; I think it has to do with the design -- it flows with the body of the SHO whereas other wheels I've lookedat are just seriously out of place.

So many people come up to me and go "damn those are stock wheels?!", they're mind blown when I say no. I'm so glad I got rid of the gay flower power wheels; hated those damn things.

BigPelo

Hey Jimmy, looks great!

Is the car on stock suspension? How does lighter wheels feel?

I think I have heard both sides of the story, but have the lighter wheel weights translated into any better times at the track?

Drewstang,,, these wheels are not leaving the car other than tire changes, but in the off chance ill keep you in mind. I got the set (just wheels) for $950 shipped from americanmuscle.com  My brother works at an indy tire shop and a guy came in with a brand new SS camaro with 17 miles on the clock and wanted all season tires put on, since he didnt want the stock tires back and discount tire cant do anything with them, my brother rolled them out the back door onto my car :)

The car absolutely feels lighter in every way, parking lot turns, braking, accelerating, lane changes... totally different car with 30 lbs lost on EACH CORNER! The thing that makes the biggest difference is that it is rotating mass, 10x more effective than losing 120 lbs anywhere else on the car. I havnt had any traction issues with the lighter wheels, but I havnt driven it hard enough to really tell a difference, plus with the pirelli P-zero tires grip is amazing.

My suspension is currently stock and its going to stay that way until I need to replace suspension parts, then MAYBE it will get lowered. I bought this car to replace my 2001 SS Camaro that had a fully built suspension and was lowered with big exhaust... Dealing with that car on a regular basis was a pain in the rear, literally and figuratively with it being lowered. The kicker is that the SHO handles and brakes better than the Camaro ever did, even with $$$ invested in suspension and 14" Brembo brakes, go figure...
