So, low and behold, I am in & out of the house this morning, running various errands, and I come home to a front porch containing a few brown boxes.
Scrambling, I think to myself "Uh oh, what the hell did I order? What did I forget about that was scheduled to arrive today? Poop, I'm glad Wife's not home, got make quick of this".
So, I scan the shipper info, and it displays "Ford Motor Co."...... still scratching my head at this point
I proceed to bring the boxes inside, open them, and WOW!
Much to my surprise, multiple Ford Taurus SHO promotional items are enclosed.
I received the following:
1 Large, Black/White Taurus SHO Umbrella
1 Large, Black Taurus SHO Duffel/Gear Bag
1 6K White LED Taurus SHO Flashlight
1 Clear/Blue Taurus SHO Water Bottle
1 Silver/Carbon Fiber Taurus SHO Coffee Mug
1 Large White T-Shirt with Taurus SHO Logo Imprinted in Black on Front & Reverse.
How freak'n cool is that I ask?
Now I suspect who from FMC Corporate may have sent these items to me, but I'm not 100% sure.
Since I think they may read these boards, as well as a few others, I wanted to put out there on the world wide web, that a BIG
is in order, and that I am very appreciative of this token of gratitude.
I will use/display each item proudly.
Now, I do recall having seen these items at the Nat'l SHO Convention back in 2012, as a few of these, most notably the umbrella, were brought there to use at the auction for charity.
I really, really wanted that damn umbrella. Especially since it was black/white and went directly with the them of my car. I just didn't have enough coin on hand to outbid the highest bidder.
No worries I thought, I'll just go online, search for it, and buy one outright. Fail.
I've been trying ever since to get a hold of these items, and the umbrella, to no avail.
Can't find them anywhere. I even visited a few of the Mfg'ers websites and a whole lot of nothing.
So once again, I find myself truly truly blessed, and very very thankful for this surprise gift.
