Has anyone with the Wilwood brake kit put on some aftermarket rims? I know that the stock 20" rims don't give the clearance needed and have to be spaced out, but I have been trying to figure out what would be needed to fit them behind an aftermarket rim.
I know that offset can effect the room behind the face of the rim, but that is not the only factor I feel that it is largely based off of the style of rim that you have. Offset is only the location of the hub to the centerline of the rim but that has nothing to do with where the face of the rim will be located (whether it is a deep well rim or not) I was having a difficult time explaining this to a couple buddies in person so I am unsure if this makes sense to read but I would like to get some aftermarket rims that would give me room for a brake upgrade if I decide to in the future.
