I have 10" on my rears at 38mm offset, wrapped in a 275 /40 shoe.
With the recent additions of the Megan coil overs & allowing the new set up to settle, I sat LOWER than I did with the H&R's.
I was level to be exact, whereas with the H&R's, I still had a rake.
Result? I was near constantly rubbing / striking the rear inner fender liners over medium bumps while driving. On the outer edges that is. What a PITA.
I would suspect a 10.5" wide rim, will only enhance that further.
I have since raised the entire rear end a 1/2" & when having an alignment check performed, had the techs additionally (& purposely) alter the rear camber to/towards the negative side of the spectrum.
Result? All's fine now. But still close.
Just my experiences with the 10".
If you peer inside the SHO's rear wheel wells, at approximately the 10am & 2pm position (s) there's a molded protrusion, or bump in the liners.
I never checked to see what's under, or behind them.
I like the suggestion of at least test fitting a 10.5" on there. But like I said, actual driving will be the true test.
Good luck!
