A couple of pics in the snow .. Before the plasti dip


WHEN I WAS UP TO MY ANKLES!!


And now what the old sled looks like now .. Windows tinted 15% all the chrome is now black including the wheels and the spear

Really love how the blacking out of the window trim make the car look sleeker!

Quite a difference, well done!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

BLACKED OUT chrome Looks Great ... On my to do list when it warms up ... No heat in the garage .

The black out really is transformative. Love the look.
What are you guys using? What's involved in getting all of that trim off? Is it fastened AND adhered?

not sure what everyone else is doing but mine is plasti dipped right over.. with this if I decidee I dont like it I can reverse the look

How is the Plasti-Dip holding up around the window trim?


2013 SHO, PP, Unleashed E25 tune, 3bar, aFe panel filter, 170* thermo, PPE catted DP's, 3rd cat delete, Eibach springs, Black powder coated flower wheels.

I did my trim this past summer and it has held up pretty well. Only issue I've had is from the car wash. The brushes have started to catch the edge of the dip. Starting to peel it back. It will need to be reapplied in the summer.
