Final steps Flex Ecoboost
« on: May 22, 2020, 11:33:01 am »
Had an 2010 Flex EB in Ruby Red but always wanted a White one..

Enter the 2011 White Flex EB

Bought it with an extended warranty - and used it - over and over and over
Things that are replace
Engine
Trans
Ptu
Steering rack
All suspension parts

Ford had an issue with the reman engine and it lifted one (1) head bolt between cylinders 1 and 2

So for the past almost 3 years it's sat at different times for about a year at the dealer..
Not all bad, I always got a loaner due to Fords ESP. One time I got the new Explorer ST to drive.

On with the good stuff

While under the knife on the many occasions the build had started

Current list of stuff
SCT Livewire TS+
EPP intake and hotpipes with Tial
3 bar map
GH turbos
GH IC
GH Torque Converter
DW lpfp
Livernois Hpfp
MSD coils - colder plugs
RPB ported Manifolds
RPB ported Turbine housings
RPB ported Heads
Sho HD trans cooler
ARP head studs
PPE Catted downpipes
Magnaflow exhaust
Custom third cat replacement
UPR Catch can
AEM/SNOW WMI
Anthony's motor mounts
Megan Coilovers
TSW Nurburgring bronze
275/40/20 G5's
Camber bolts rear/ slotted upper strut mount holes
Roadkill sound deadening everywhere (added weight, but shes a little quieter)
Killer multi amp active audio system, Rockford, JL, JBL, INI, Audio Control, and Pioneer
K40 laser/radar
Viper Alarm/remote start
Wrapped the grill and door handles with headlight film
Wrapped the belt molding with gloss black
Llumar Tint 30% front and 5% rear and glass roof panels
Custom Quad Bi-xenon headlights
Custom Junction box for lighting control

Never, timing is never on my side....
and the latest the Livewire's power supply caps gave up the ghost in the middle of a program.
So I just got back a replacement, and the car went back to the dealer again, on a flatbed
