Title: Last Friday night of the year.
Post by: shoNoff on October 27, 2018, 06:05:38 PM
So as many of you may or may not know. My car was broken into and all my drag racing stuff stolen out of it roughly 3 weeks ago. So I ordered all new stuff, sct, helmet, tire pressure garage, laptop etc. When I get the new sct I try to use it nothing but errors. I call sct send it back figuring no way will I have this back in time to race this year. Well I get him from work last night and it's on my front porch. So I decided at 8pm to run down to local track to make a few passes on last Friday night they are open for datalog purposes. They close at 10 I get there and they go on break at 830. Legit the next pair after break guy oils down entire right lane. So after all the cleanup it's now 930 haven't made a run. Anyways I only ended up getting in 2 runs but did run new best. Wish the track was better but it was 33 degrees can't ask for much out of a surface at that temperature. I know a 12.30 is in there it's just all in the 60 foot.

Awesome! Looks like you had a lil slip off the line, but that mph was great for the time. A lil more traction and that'll cut it down even further!

Oh yea buddy that was everything she had. I did some datalogging for you I'll have to send it over later. I can't wait to see what we cook up next year. I'm currently drinking watching World Series.

Yea I did Jordan cold track just wouldn't hold anything. 60 foot was a 1.85I'm ususlly 1.79-1.81. I've got new shocks, struts and h&r's but I'm waiting until spring to install. I'll be driving the sho some this winter and didn't want to do it before. I think 802Sho and I are gonna try to run Wednesday the last night the track is open. Should be a little warmer here then.

I have no idea why but on the 12.67 pass I just noticed they put my number as 049 not 083. Oh well I have video evidence lol

Congratulations Tim on your new PB!  You always run a consistent low 60ft so that's unfortunate about the track but still man your car is fast!  I would like to see you run meth but at the same time I have a feeling you're going to be one of the first SHO's with the new intercooler running near 11's... maybe even an 11..without Meth.  Jordan's SHO is wicked and already the first without meth or nitrous to run 11's!  I'm excited to see how much we all improve our times next year as our momentum seems to only be growing.  Winter will merely press pause on our efforts.

Thanks buddy it's coming. It's all in the 60 foot with these cars. I've got some ideas now on how to really lower that. I'm hoping to get the car close to the 1.70 range next year.
