Title: Need a Fusion Sport 2.7L 3bar
Post by: Scott4957 on July 15, 2018, 05:06:34 PM
Not much info on these 2.7 sports out there yet. Brad is going to give a go at tuning, the SCT X4 doesn't even have any OTS tunes on the latest updates. I assume this car has a 2 bar in it and I will need a 3bar. Can any of you parts guru's help me track one down? I looked at the original part on Rock Auto, unfortunately its different than the MAP on the 3.5 as I already have one of those. The good news is the factory MAP on the Fusion Sport is only $16 so that is nice.

Side note: I have a 3bar for the 3.5 if anyone is looking, is $50 shipped fair? Let me know if you need it.

No 3 bar needed

Get the diverter valve for it.  Makes a big difference from what I have heard

Stock turbos max out around 21 psi, no need for aftermarket Map. I read problems with the GFB bypass valve sticking over time or causing shuddering once the oil wears out.
