Hey guys,
I searched and tried finding an answer on this but I can't find a direct answer and hoping someone could help me.
What will produce a faster 1/4 mile time, E30 tune or a straight 100 octane tune (not a mix of 93 / 100, but straight 100)?
Thanks!
100 octane should allow for more aggressive tuning. Im estimating E30 to be around 96-98 octane
And sorry we havent persued the tuning for your car thats all on me and my lack of time

in my particular case E30 mixed with 91 was good enough for 26-27* spark with a 16psi tune or 1.5-1.7 load range. 100 octane wouldn't provide any advantage for me. ethanol also has additional cooling properties that race gas won't give you and is MUCH cheaper. i do spike my blend with a couple gallons of 100oct before track days just for piece of mind.
however,
100octane would be a considerable option if your fuel pressure wasn't keeping up with the extra demands of the Eblends.

Oh I'm with ya Z and agree but GT500 was going to be a side project and was and would be a freebie so I can't technically call him a customer. So we never started because I wasn't ready to see it through.
