Title: 2.25 vs 2.5 exhaust piping
Post by: Medinafx on July 22, 2017, 03:02:44 PM
I can't decide between 2.25 exhaust pipe and 2.5.
Which one is better? Does paying over 1200 for a 2.5 exhaust system pay off in performance or just build your own in 2.25 piping such as stock?

Welcome aboard Medinafx!  What type of vehicle do you have?
I would say minimal gains can be had with any type of aftermarket exhaust so essentially the true bottle neck are the DP.
Due setup an intro at your earliest convenience, thanks. Z

I totally agree about the bottle next being the biggest issue on this platform but I found this one day just wasting time. I was surprised at the difference but again this is a totally different application.

I'm going to buy catless downpipes in the future. I think I'm going to go with dynomax axle back exhaust and xpipe in place of the third cat & resonator. I heard a few YouTube clips and it sounds good
