Are there any options for something like a wire mesh grille for the Lincoln MKS? The grilles are on of the things I don't really care for on the MKS. The vertical bars are just kinda... meh. I haven't been able to find anything. I'd like to find some high quality wire mesh pieces similar to the Cadillac CTS-V. Or heck even using the mesh pattern that the 2017 MKZ uses, or the same mesh from the SHO. Anything really. Thanks in advance.
Maybe T-Rex makes some for the 2013+? Painting the OEM grille is a nice option too, look at what fellow forum member TSS has ...
Thanks for the input. I checked out T-Rex and they don't carry anything for the MKS. They DO carry uncut mesh sheets though... pretty much exactly what I am looking for, but requires some minor fabricating on the customer's end. I bet you could actually use the factory grilles for an MKS and just cut the vertical bars out, and then cut to fit some of the mesh sheets... http://trexbillet.com/i-20468330-t-rex-all-most-vehicles-stainless-steel-wire-mesh-flat-black-12x40-mesh-size-3-squares-per-inch-pt-51009.html (http://trexbillet.com/i-20468330-t-rex-all-most-vehicles-stainless-steel-wire-mesh-flat-black-12x40-mesh-size-3-squares-per-inch-pt-51009.html)
I bet black might look good on my silver 13 mks . Im with you they dont look great and wish we had some options.
Went to look up the original Lincoln grills. They are like $300 PER SIDE... If I can find some for cheap I might try this out. I'd rather not destroy the ones on my car as part of the learning process lol. Since they are the same as the base model MKS, I bet I could find something at a salvage yard or something.
