Sooo...
I have a small leak at the check valve where it goes into the elbow.... I used some lock tight but still leaking a bit like a drop every 10 seconds or so....any thoughts? Plumbers tape maybe??
Also... the red/green light is cycling... now I haven't driven it yet... just running through the test... anyone else have that issue? Julio said it could be because of the leak or I just need to get it under boost for it to kick over...
I like using grey or black RTV on npt fittings.....lock tite by nature isnt a thread sealer
The White "Plumbers Tape" is Ideal especially for metal thread. Z
If you can find it I work with this stuff everyday in the fire sprinkler field.
I've literally never had a leak with it.

Re threaded all the nozzle fittings with some white plumbers tape and that fixed the leaks along with the pressure issues. I was planning on using that originally however, in the directions it calls out for loc-tite... wasn't sure if there is an issue with meth and plumbers tape.. Thanks everyone for the advice.
AS a full time Plumber / Pipe Fitter and SS tubing Guy,
We use tape A Ton, and a Small amount of Pipe Dope middle threads only,
on all our High Pressure Systems. This will keep it sealed. a little goes a long way.
Gasoila Brand Dope for Regular Steel,
PLS-2 for Stainless Steel.
Both can be had at Plumbing supply, or online
Glad you're doing this; when do you want to drive to Woodbridge and install mine? :)
[kidding, I havent purchased a kit yet.]
