So I need to feed an illumination trigger to my remote unit for my DSP and it will take either a 12v or a ground switched input, I just have to tell it which it's being presented with. I understand getting a dimmer signal from the taurus can be pretty difficult, but I don't need all that, I just need one of these 12v or ground signals when the car switches to night time illumination. Not sure of all the conditions that need to be for that to happen, like I'm not sure if the inside LED accent lights will be illuminated when the car changes over at night, or if those come on at a different time, or if the headlights going on trigger this?
Sorry for the paragraph of text, just not really sure where to start looking for something like this in this car with all the CANBUS going on.
