Title: SHO coils versus PP coils
Post by: Bklynite on February 26, 2017, 05:40:38 PM
Gentlemen,
Can someone tell me the difference in the 2 coil types?
Which is better?
I've cut 5" off the rear coils of my 11 SHO and I thought about doing the same with the front, but if the PP are better id invest in those instead before I get to cutting the stock SHO's.

I've had both, non PP definitely more comfortable, PP feels more connected at the expense of ride quality.

PP's ride is a little harsh with everything new (struts etc..) and with the hard sidewall supercar tires. Any other tire brand seemed to lessen the harshness to be acceptable. Now my suspension is somewhat worn it feels fine.

AFAIK THE PP Springs/Struts will not fit on your NON-PP SHO and its a completely different "Suspension Code"and IMHO would not cut the front Springs, best of luck to ya. Z

you can not cut your front springs. they are squared on both ends
