Title: SHO Headlight Side marker/Parking Lights
Post by: polskifacet on January 26, 2017, 02:34:29 PM
Hey Guys,
Changed the yellow bulbs out to white LEDs. It was a pain in the butt to get to these. You also need Herculean finger strength as you can only use your index and middle fingers to twist them out of the headlight. I did however find that spraying the socket with silicone lube spray made it way easier to re-install.

Looks great :thumb:  Yeah, the headlight assembly def has room for design improvement.  The FSM will simply say "REMOVE THE HEADLIGHT", and that is such a joy to do!

Looks good, I really need to stop being a pinny pincher, and buy some proper white/amber switchbacks for my SHO and my mustang (I have a set of $8 dollar switchbacks in the mustang and they look purple instead of white)

What bulbs did you use? Are they just white, or a switchback? and did you need to use a load resistor to keep them from having hyper flash?

They are only 194 side marker lights not the turn signal. I don't feel like dealing with load resistors and such. Once I get my fuel pressure issue sorted out, I will see if i can fit a 30 inch single row LED light bar behind the grille :D.
