Title: Steering pulls to right when not on throttle
Post by: salsathe4th on October 19, 2016, 01:45:31 PM
I have been having issues the past few months or so where my steering will pull to the right. I thought it was just a misalignment but after getting wheels realigned a few months ago because of  new lower control arms for both sides it still pulls to the right.

HOWEVER, when i am accelerating and or taking off from a stop quickly, the steering will go straight to center. Once I let go of the gas the steering will JERK to the right and I will have to continue to over correct the steering wheel left to adjust until I accelerate again. It jerked so much to where one time I even went a lane over after flooring it.

Thanks

That tsb is spot on with your symptoms.
I would also confirm the caliper on the right side is not slightly dragging.

I had a thought it might be a stuck caliper pin just didnt think that would give me these symptoms.

Hmmmm. Mine has been experiencing this the last couple months. Thought it was due to streets not being level but started noticing pull on level streets. I was looking into an alignment but that perfectly describes my problem.
