Title: Check engine light blinking shuddering
Post by: Usmcsho on October 08, 2016, 11:01:30 AM
So I was driving and the car started shuddering on acceleration and at idle. Its at the dealer since I have the extended warranty but anyone have a similar issue?

Check plugs & injectors for proof of leaking fuel.  Check intercooler for signs of crud buildup.  And check/clean MAP sensors.  Also, make sure knock sensor wires are not chafing, a popular issue on the Gen 4.1's.

Kind of an obvious question, but did you happen to get the codes before dropping it off?

Without knowing specific codes, it could be anything.  Your guess is as good as mine.  If the CEL is flashing, it's misfiring and should be shut off immediately.  Why it's misfiring, that's anyone's guess without codes and actually looking at the car.
