I was asking LMS about potentially getting meth and was sent a list of pre requirements of which I have all but down pipes and full exhaust. Personally I wouldn't mind downpipes eventually but do not want full exhaust due to personal preference in sound. It appears that some of you are not running these and still running meth?? Ive ran nitrous on various applications from stock to open exhaust?
I dont think its a requirement but if your seeking the most gains from your vehicle the above mentioned mods will definitely add more HP for optimum performance along with some dyno sessions....please add your signature and welcome aboard. Z
I would ask why you need any extra modifications to take advantage of the cooler charge temps the meth affords you.
I really don't like the upselling.
I would take advantage of the cooler temps with extra spark tuning at any boost level while using meth
That was my question also. I even asked for clarification in case I misunderstood that this was a benefit or a requirement and was told it was a requirement??? Ill call them and talk to Jamie next week and see what he has to say in person.

Doesnt matter what you ask them....you will follow their modification path and like it...you wont have a say in the matter

Presumptuous, opinionated, & innacurrate.

AFAIK it is a benefit, not a requirement to have methanol injection. The stock downpipes are a very real bottleneck, and upgrading them also upgrades the performance capability of your vehicle, in addition to moving available power starting point to down lower in the rev band, about 500 rpm IIRC.
Who will be doing the Alky meth kit install?. Z
I run meth on a completely stock exhaust. No need to change it just to run meth. Of course it will up the performance but not necessary. I will be adding downpipes soon but for now my car runs great. And I'm running 80/20 meth.
