Title: Newbie with a sho
Post by: Syndicate1924 on March 17, 2016, 08:20:28 AM
Hey guys, I picked up this 2013 sho last night in sc and absolutely love it! The awd is a blast. Slightly different from my lightning! I have a whole slew of parts that I plan on purchasing with a few on the way now. Speaking of, does anyone know what the factory 19" silver wheels are worth? I will be posting (rims only) for sale soon. I've learned alot from this site already and cant wait to learn more

Welcome and congrats on the new purchase. As for the wheels not sure, any reason they would not have the rubber on them? The only buyer I could see would be someone with a base Taurus that would want an upgrade, but they would be much easier to sell with rubber on them. They may be worth more to keep around with the old rubber so if you trade her in years down the road you can resell your aftermarket wheels rather than trade/sell it with them on. Just my 2 cents. Tell us what you have on the way and what your plans are!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I have 19" tsw's on the way and was gonna use the brand new rubbers I had on the factory wheels for those. It's going to get limo tint all the way around this afternoon. I have the caps on the way to convert the bov to vta. And i ordered some gel overlays for the factory emblems. I have a scheduled time with the same tuner that did my built lightning next weekend. Still undecided about exhaust. I'm stuck between man that sounds good and man that sounds like those ricer Hondas.

Best of luck with the new ride and provide her with some (TLC)Tender loving care by checking/changing the fluids depending on the current mileage. Z   :thumb:
