Turbo up grade do you still use the waste gate accuators that are supplied with them along with factory bovs
Hot pipes have nothing to do with WGA, WGA are on the turbos themselves.
If you are going to upgrade turbos I would suggest the Tial BoV.
Don't worry about the WGA, the stock turbo upgrade turbos I sell come with aftermarket WGA, the ATP ones don't but nobody has had any issues yet with them.
You can. Or you can go to EPP charge pipes (aka hotpipes) with a TIAL variable spring single bov instead of the dual OEM electric ones. No one has yet presented any evidence as to which bov makes the SHO perform better in any kind of setup, but I will note that the most powerful, quickest, and fastest SHO is running ATP turbos with factory electric bovs on AM hotpipes... That would be bpd. You will need to be tuned to see any real benefit from upgraded impellers or new turbos though, since stock tune cannot accept data from the a 3BAR MAP which will be required to communicate significantly increased boost to the ECM. I am unaware of any available AM wastegate separate from from the component parts as stated below.. Maybe someone else can inform us on the WG if there is one separately available.
I sell aftermarket Turbosmart Wastegates on my site, they're also included in the stock turbo upgrade setup I sell.
I don't know what AM hotpipes are, Mike is running my pipes on his car, I did forget he was running stock BoV.
Myself and Jacob both around 600WHP with Tial BoV.
Would need a tune even if you werent running 3 bar boost levels...if you ran 6 psi with atp turbos and 6 psi with stock turbos the air flow model would be different...so the manifold pressure is the same but airflow is different
AM = aftermarket, I believe was BiGMaC's reference ...
