Hey guys,
Ive been posting/lurking for about 2 months now, since I ordered my 2015 PP Tuxedo Black Taurus SHO and started to have questions. Its getting close to delivery (Week of Dec. 14th) and I am extremely excited. I just wanted to post here to introduce myself a little better, and I will definitely be posting pictures of the car as soon as I receive delivery.
Currently I have a 2004 F150 5.4L that is being traded in for the SHO, and a 2003 Mustang 3.8l V6, that has a 4.3L engine and single turbo kit waiting on install. I plan to use the SHO as my daily driver, and do some light mods (exhaust, aesthetics, maybe lowering springs / coilovers, and a tune). And since i will have the SHO as a fun daily driver, I can make the mustang a little less polite on the streets (it currently has full suspension, an 8.8 with 4.10s, and a good tune). I plan to add cobra 11.65" brakes in the rear after the engine swap and turbo install (I have cobra 13" brakes in front) as well as delete the rear seats (no need for those with a nice 4 door daily driver), and add a cage. Along with the engine build I will be adding a new tubular K member, and coilovers in front, and once that is all done I plan to get a set of drag wheels (17 x 4.5" in front, and 15x 10" in rear). Unless at that point there is some option that will also fit the SHO just in case I want to have some more fun. I also plan to drag the SHO occasionally, and once the Mustang build is all done, I may have to mod the SHO a bit more with a turbo upgrade and meth.
It's a good plan, enjoy the SHO, let it break in awhile, fix anything that crops up, then go whole hog on the mods :D
Feel free to put up a build thread (with pics of course) for the Mustang here:

Sounds like a monster in the making!
Ill definitely get a build thread up once I start getting into the engine install. I am really excited to get the mustang done, and hopefully it ends up being as fun as I anticipate the SHO being.
The current mods are: 8.8 with 4.10s in the rear, 1.5" lowering springs, upper and lower control arms (adjustable), strut tower brace (not sure it will fit with the new engine and turbo kit), I also have a basic SCT canned tune and a CAI for a bit of bling, along with true, divorced duals, and flowmaster 44's. Cobra 13" brakes on front, with 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear cobra rims. The transmission is also J-modded so it shifts a bit better than OEM.
The parts I have waiting to install are:
3200 rpm locking torque converter, tubular K member and tubular A arms, bumpsteer kit, coilovers for the front, (I already have caster camber plates).
The engine has 1.7 roller rockers, and a turbo grind cam, as well as forged internals, and is bored to allow for a 4.3 crank rather than the original 4.2, giving me a 4.3 stroker. The engine dynoed at just over 300 at the crank, so the plan is to get the engine installed and the turbo kit on low boost, and shoot for 350 to the rear wheels, then crank the boost up to 10-13 psi, maybe up to 15 psi, and shoot for 450+ RWHP on a V6. And then break some hearts at the track.
Where did you source the engine/cam/crank from?
Were you able to obtain the vin #? Z

The cam is a comp cams custom grind that was speced by Super Six Motorsports (http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/ (http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/)) They built the engine for a friend of mine who autocrossed, and after having the engine build and custom fabricating the turbo kit, he decided that he would rather have a car better suited for auto-x than his mustang so he parted it out.

I do have a vin number, however im not 100% sure its correct since when I check the window sticker for it it comes back with many of the options incorrect.
