Title: New bar has been set for 1/4 mile time
Post by: bamsho on October 24, 2015, 01:44:08 AM
Well guys, a new bar has been set for the SHO's.  It is now a blue 92 Gen2.  He just went 11.556 @ 114.  He is now the fastest SHO in the country.  I started out in the SHO game with a green 92, so my heart is with Zach, even though I has a '13 SHO now.  Now who is up to bet this.

Hopefully a Gen4 SHO beats is quickly.  Some of those Gen1-3 owners are annoying on shoforum.com lol

He blew third gear, granted according to him it was a junkyard transmission without an HD gearset...

LOL @ "annoying".

Come hither now, if it wasn't for our predecessors, we wouldn't have the wonderful (current Gen) SHO's all of us now enjoy. Respect to the previous Gen SHO's. Come on now.

It's never annoying to see another fellow SHO owner, break through time speed barriers, previously uncharted.

I for one am UBER HAPPY for Zach, for having achieved the outstanding time that he has.

Yes, his trans blew. Yes he completely stripped the $h!t out of his SHO, in order to make it as light weight as possible.

But that said, if a current Gen SHO owner decides to employ the same weight savings reductions methodologies into their whip, I'm pretty confident that 10's could be had.

And no, I have no plans of challenging Zach.

I've built mine for BOTH SHO & GO!

So the opportunity's open for someone (anyone) to make their Gen4 SHO a true track car specifically, by gutting the $h!t out of it, caging it, then going to town on it.

Personally, I'd love to see that happen.

Regardless of who uses what vendor, and what power adders were added, etc.

Just do it.
