Hello everyone! I recently just purchased my 2013 SHO. My previous car was a Chrysler Town and Country..... I love the SHO! My story is quite an interesting tale. I originally wanted an infinity G37 Coupe. Moved from that to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. I drove both, and neither really impressed me. I then had the opportunity to drive a tuned BMW 335D making 400+ HP and 500+TQ at the wheels. I was impressed that a four door car could have so much power, but I don't ever want to bring my wallet, so I chose not to get a BMW. I then started researching 4 door sports sedans. Went all over, German mostly, and then I remember Lincoln makes some nice luxury cars that can be quick. I then stumbled upon the SHO. The more I read, the more I fell in love. I HAD TO DRIVE ONE!! So, I start looking for my NEW TO ME SHO, and I find a black 2013. I go and test drive it, but the numbers just weren't where I wanted them. Fast Forward two weeks, and the SHO had dropped from 24999, to 21999. I figured, I'd talk to him again. He offered me 3k on the VAN, which is right at NADA trade in, so figured that was good enough. The smile on my face when I left the dealership hasn't been on my face since the first time I held my son. It's been a long time since I've had a performance car, and I was sooo happy to not be a Soccer Dad anymore. On the way home, with Son in the car seat, we suddenly ended up in Mexico! A little 370z comes up next to me, and I pushed the skinny pedal down for the first time. WOAH!!!! Son yells WIIIEEEEEEE!!!! We shot up to 65, i was getting on the Interstate. Now the 370z, I pulled on, but he may not have been on it all the way, I don't know. I let out at 65, because kid, and I didn't want to break my new toy. I have to say, I LOVE THIS THING! It has it all, comfort, power!, AWD, and GIZMOS out the waaazooo! After we merge into traffic, son says, "I like your race car DADDY!", and thus another gearhead was born! I can't wait to get a TUNE!, but first, some fluid changes, and a baseline run at my local track!
Nice! Lol welcome aboard.

Welcome, thanks for joining!
You are right, it's quite the story :) Welcome to the forum, glad to have you and your son and the '13 SHO join in on the revelry! As far as maintenance goes, you should get an e-Manual from eBay (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H1.X2013+taurus+service+manual.TRS0&_nkw=2013+taurus+service+manual&_sacat=0). Get yourself a GoPro camera too, sounds like a father&son MUSTHAVE :D
Congrats! These cars are fun and rare. Now 1.5 years later, I still enjoy starting it up every morning and romping on it.
Welcome to the forum!
Welcome! :hi:
Glad to have you with us.
Welcome!
Welcome! I'm in Tampa too. I sadly traded my car in recently. Lots of great people here and great information. If you ever see a Silver 2011 all blacked out, it was my old car lol
