bought my 13 sho used. original owner in TX had it lowered. not sure what brand springs are on there. the ride is rough, but it looks mint. sometimes there is a plasticky clicking sound in the front when turning. I had the axle recall done, and they replaced one of the axles on the rh side. not sure if it's related. maybe it's common with lowered cars??
With H&R springs, you can hear this sound if the springs are not seated properly. Have you had the alignment checked recently?
i just bought it in june. i have not had an alignment done. is there maybe a vendor tag on the spring somewhere?

If so, it's the Hubs that need replacing. I had mine replaced at 7k miles and clicking came back at 23K miles.
couldn't really make that out.
my main concern is that a dealership will deny any suspension claim because it's lowered.

I'd think they might give you some issues but hopefully a good dealer will know it's a known issues on PP SHOs.

That was clear as (daylight)!! Probably being so familiar with the issue after a while it just resonates in your head.lol Z
lol. i hear it when I sit down in the seat and grab the wheel before I even turn it on.
I dumped my 2013 SHO because of this clicking problem, as well as some other issues. Three dealerships had the car five different times by the 20k mile mark and the clicking remained after they replaced the steering rack, hubs, and pretty much everything else they could think of.
I liked my SHO a lot when it was working properly but it just had way too many issues, way too early, for me to keep it. Dealerships did what they could to make it right but Ford itself was less than helpful.

Ugh, thats the sound my 2015 makes as well, it started after my first trip to the track.
Thats the exact noise mine makes...moving the wheel the exact same way....fomo when u get it fixed let me onow what it is lol....was it a memeber here that posted that vid?
Oh nevermind...its the poker munkee lol
I just wish i knew if it needed a bearing or the thrust washer tsb...id hate to go twice for the same thing
Had the problem with mine and it turned out to be the thrust washer TSB but they also changed out my hub while they were in there just to ensure. Take it too dealership and show them that video. Mine has been gone since and hopefully it stays gone. I'm at 21k.
I bet it comes back ! lol. Mine came back 15K miles later. They did the washer TSB and replaced both HUBs.
